ワットアルンで新しい仏像を作っていました。
ここで作られた仏像は
ワットアルンと同系統のお寺に納められるようです。
バンコクからずっと北のほうにあるイサーン地方のお寺だとお坊さんは言っていました。
とっても珍しい行事が見れて良かったです。

At Wat Arun, they were creating a new Buddha statue.
The statue being made here is set to be enshrined in a temple belonging to the same lineage as Wat Arun. According to the monk, it will be sent to a temple in the Isaan region, far north of Bangkok.
I was fortunate to witness such a rare event.
