長野県飯田市の矢高諏訪神社の夏に行われる
お祭りの様子です。
いくつもの地区の御神輿が練り歩き
神社に集まってきます。
花火はかなり打ち上げる場所から近い位置で見ることができ
迫力満点です。
昔はもっと大きいサイズのも打ち上げていましたが
最近は見なくなりましたね。
賑やかなお祭り、
たくさんの笑顔。
夏のにおい。
いいもんですよね。
This is a scene from the summer festival at Yataka Suwa Shrine in Iida City, Nagano Prefecture.
Numerous mikoshi (portable shrines) from different districts parade through the streets and gather at the shrine.
You can watch the fireworks from a spot very close to where they’re launched, making for an incredibly powerful experience.
In the past, they used to set off even larger fireworks, but we don’t see those as much anymore.
A lively festival filled with smiles and the scent of summer in the air.
It’s really something special, isn’t it?
