This is the Kung Krabaen Bay Royal Development Study Center.
I was really surprised by the sheer amount of nature here.
Was that a tidal flat-like area? The dense trees were incredibly unique, something I had only seen on TV before.
It’s a space with almost no artificial structures, which reminded me a bit of the jungles in Malaysia.
It took about 20-30 minutes of walking to reach the spot where this view was captured.
A little further back, there was a sign that said it was a habitat for dugongs. I wanted to see one, but unfortunately, I didn’t spot any this time. Maybe next time.
Since it’s a period when the number of tourists has drastically decreased, I thought there was a chance I might see one, but it seems the timing wasn’t right.
When you step away from man-made objects, the power of nature really stands out, and it makes you realize how small you are… I can’t quite put it into words, but nature is truly amazing.
